$FES provides access to the Farlands™ ecosystem and its early development.
General
What is Farlands™?
Farlands™ is building a persistent identity system for games – a platform where player avatars endure, carrying your character, items, progression, and history beyond any single game or server.
What does “One Journey. Endless Possibilities.” mean?
It means your character isn’t designed to reset with every new experience. As Farlands™ expands, your identity is built to carry forward across connected experiences over time.
What is the Farlands™ Token Portal?
It is the official portal for connecting a supported wallet and interacting with $FES-related ecosystem access features (including early supporter access where applicable).
$FES Token
What is $FES?
$FES (Farlands Ethereum Solana) is the Farlands™ utility access token. It is designed for access, participation, and in-ecosystem utility – not as an investment product.
Is $FES an investment?
No. $FES does not provide equity, profit rights, dividends, or guaranteed returns. It is designed as a closed-loop utility token for ecosystem use only.
Do I need $FES to play Farlands™?
No. Farlands™ is designed with an in-game soft currency pathway so players can participate without using blockchain features. $FES is for optional utility access and ecosystem participation.
Tokenomics & Distribution
What is the total supply of $FES?
900,000,000 $FES are pre-minted (fixed supply) with 4 decimals for microtransactions.
How is $FES allocated?
Allocation is designed to support long-term development, operations, reserves, liquidity infrastructure, vesting programs, and founder/contributor alignment. Full category breakdown is shown in Docs and the Whitepaper.
How does distribution work?
Distribution is staged over time and intended to align with development milestones and ecosystem needs, rather than speculative release. Details may evolve as compliance guidance is refined.
Wallets & Safety
Which wallets are supported?
The portal supports Solana-compatible wallets such as Phantom and Solflare via the wallet modal. Support may expand over time.
Does the portal custody my wallet or assets?
No. Your wallet remains under your control. Always verify URLs and never share seed phrases or private keys.
What should I do if I think I’ve been scammed or clicked a bad link?
Disconnect your wallet, revoke suspicious permissions (if applicable), and contact support immediately. Never enter your seed phrase anywhere.
Utility, Staking & Governance
What can $FES be used for in the ecosystem?
$FES is intended to support in-ecosystem access and utility such as digital items, upgrades, marketplace interactions, and other platform services as they are released.
Does $FES staking pay yield?
No. Any staking concepts described for the current token are non-financial and tied to gameplay outcomes only – not passive income or returns.
Is there governance?
Governance is limited to non-financial, gameplay-related decisions (such as content priorities or narrative direction) and does not grant control over company finances or token monetary policy.
NFTs & Digital Items
Will Farlands™ have NFTs?
Some digital items or achievements may be represented as tokenized collectibles in approved environments. Farlands™ is designed so blockchain features remain optional and secondary to gameplay.
Are NFTs required to enjoy the game?
No. Farlands™ is built to remain accessible to players who do not use wallets or tokenized items.
Bridge & Roadmap
Why launch on Solana first?
Solana supports fast, low-fee utility that fits frequent interactions and microtransactions. It’s a practical foundation for the portal and early ecosystem access.
Why bridge to Ethereum later?
Ethereum interoperability expands accessibility and integration potential across a broader ecosystem. Bridging is planned for interoperability – not yield.
Does bridging change what $FES is?
No. Bridging is intended to improve interoperability. It does not change the token’s utility classification or introduce profit rights.
What is Farlands L1 / $FES Legacy?
Farlands L1 and $FES Legacy are future plans for a separate, regulated financial layer with different legal and functional properties. This is planned and not currently active.
